Samuel Atta Kyea, Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa South in the Eastern Region has led members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) within his constituency to donate 20 units of blood to the Kibi Government Hospital.
The MP told DAILY GUIDE, “The Kibi Government hospital has always been crying for blood and this has prompted me to organise this blood donation to stock the hospital’s blood bank.”
During the donation exercise, Mr Atta Kyea promised to help his constituency to work on improving the quality of education and healthcare in the East Akim Municipality. He added that a lot of efforts had also been put in place to create jobs for the constituency’s teeming unemployed youth.
The Administrator of Kibi Government Hospital, Victor Apandia, appealed to the general public to come to the aid of the hospital to help deal with the myriad challenges facing it.
