The Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has paid a glowing tribute to Kumasi Asante Kotoko executive Jerry Asare who died on Monday.
Asare, who served in various positions at Kotoko since 2004, passed away after a short illness.
Nyantakyi said: “On behalf of the GFA, I would like to send my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jerry ‘Show-Show’ Asare as well as the Kotoko family.
“He was one of Ghana football’s top-notch administrators and will be much missed across the game. Show-Show was a true one-club man at Kotoko and a fantastic administrator for the Porcupine Warriors.
“He was also the epitome of the one-club man with few people ever having contributed as much to a single team in the history of our competitions.
“He will rightly be forever remembered by the football fraternity of Ghana.”
