The Northern Regional Police Command has granted bail to three suspects arrested in Tamale after irate NDC youth attacked Tamale based Radio Justice yesterday.
Three persons were arrested in connection with the attack on Tuesday which resulted in the destruction of several properties.
The youth were incensed by comments by an NPP activist on the radio over last Saturday’s shooting incident that left one person dead.
The Public Relations Officer of the Northern Regional Police Command, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh told Citi News that “the police are on the grounds to ensure calm prevails.”
“We did a patrol in the evening till day break and we are continuing with it this morning, and beyond,” he said.
He also stated that the police will continue with investigations until the get to the bottom of the incident.
