The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer for the 2012 elections Nana Akufo Addo says he will finally announce his decision for election 2016 on March 20,2014.
Nana Addo said this in Kumasi at a meeting with party executives on Wednesday morning.
He arrived in the city last night to a rousing welcome from supporters.
Nana Addo who was the party’s presidential candidate for the 2012 elections is being urged by both supporters and some executives to contest to be the party’s flagbearer for 2016.
Akufo Addo had indicated that he wanted to consult the elders of the party before making any public announcement.
According to a reporter with our partner station Solid FM, Abena Owusu Nyamekye, the party supporters and regional executives wanted him to announce his decision but Nana Addo asked the party members to be patient with him and wait till 20th March.
