The 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration has proven that they are unable to govern the country.

He listed the depreciation of the cedi and the mismanagement of the economy as clear indications that the NDC has run out of ideas.

Addressing the newly elected Regional Executives of the party from the Eastern Region who called on him on Monday, Nana Addo said the NPP remains the only hope for Ghanaians.

According to him, the Mahama administration “has failed to deliver. You don’t even see what they are doing. Ghanaians are looking up to us.”

He therefore admonished party members to work hard to win the 2016 elections saying, “we can only do that if we remain united because through unity, we have a bright chance of winning the 2016 elections.”

Nana Addo who returned from his vacation in the United Kingdom last week is expected to declare his intention whether to run for the NPP’s flagbearer slot or not.

Since his arrival, some party supports have been paying courtesy calls on him to welcome him back.
