Eastern Region NPP Visits Akufo Addo

Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from the Eastern Region have paid a courtesy call on Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at his Nima residence in Accra.

The party supporters went to the 2012 presidential candidate of the NPP to welcome him from his six months rest in United Kingdom after the Supreme Court judgment on the election petition.

Led by the Regional Chairman, Mr Kiston Kissi, the supporters appealed to Nana Akufo-Addo to lead the Party in Election 2016.

Mr Kissi said Nana Akufo-Addo had all that it takes to win the 2016 elections hence their call on him to lead the party and appealed to him to make up his mind so they could start campaigning for him.
The 2012 presidential candidate of the NPP in response said he was yet to decide on his political future and that he would make it known after conferring with elders and key stakeholders of the party.

Nana Akufo-Addo said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration had proved that they could not govern the country, adding that the depreciation of the cedi and the mismanagement of the economy were clear indications that the NDC had run out of ideas.
He appealed to party members to work hard to win the 2016 elections in order to save Ghanaians from the current economic hardship.

Nana Akufo-Addo urged the party to stay united which was the only thing that could brighten their chances of winning the 2016 elections.
