Inter Allies Move off The Foot of The League Table

An important home win over Liberty Professionals on Saturday has seen Inter Allies for the first time this season climb off the foot of the Premier League table.

The Premiership debutants were 2-1 winners over Liberty at the Tema Stadium, a win which lifts them but are still in the relegation bracket.

Two half goals put Inter Allies in the lead before Liberty scored a second half consolation.

Malian import Niare Benogo scored the opener in the 38th minute before Prosper Kasim doubled their lead with two minutes to end the first half.

Both goals seem to have boosted their survival hopes as Liberty played catch-up.

Michael Appiah pulled one back for Liberty in the 85th minute but Inter Allies managed to cling on to pick all three points.

Inter Allies are now 15th on the log though bottom side, Ebusua Dwarfs have two games in hand.
