Nollywood actress Cynthia Nkiru Okereke is not a new name in Nigerian movie industry, but she is one lady that has made it to stardom without appearing on pages of Newspapers.
She is one of the very few who believe more in the business aspect of movie making than the glamour. . Cynthia, a mother of one, is that accomplished Nollywood actress, whose desires to crack jokes and lighten people’s spirit as well as love and passion for the theatre moved her into Nigeria movie Industry in 1998.
Nkiru had the influence of her friend Obiajulu Nworji, who encouraged her to become one of the casts of the movie entitled, King Jaja of Opobo. Her passion in acting over the years brought her roles in so many movies in Nollywood till date.
The 2013 AGN Movie Ambassador has starred in movies such as, Please Kill My Wife, Second Chance, He Goat, North and South, Osuofia in London, Sound of Love, Coronation, Ibu in Campus, Church and Tradition, Reggae Boys, Days of Joy, Ibu and Sons, Ibu the Family Man, Achebe, Otollo Festival and so many others.
