Guinean President Arrives…

Professor Alpha Condé, Guinean President, has arrived in Ghana for a three-day visit.

He will be the special guest at Ghana’s 57th Independence Parade to be held tomorrow, March 6, at the Black Star Square.

His participation in the independence activities, according to a statement from the presidency, is in fulfillment of the desire to deepen existing relations with Ghana’s long-standing friendly neighbors.

Presidents Condé and Mahama would co-host a seminar on responsible mineral development initiative at the Accra International Conference Centre, on Friday March.

As part of the three-day visit, the Guinean Leader will also visit the Akosombo Hydroelectric Dam, and some pineapple plantations, as well as the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and the Asomdwee Park.

He was met on arrival by Mrs Hannah Tetteh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
