Kwarasey Named In Ghana’s Starting Line-Up To Face Montenegro

Goalkeeper Adam Kwasarey has been handed a rare start for Ghana as he is in the starting line-up to face Montenegro on Wednesday night with coach Kwesi Appiah giving several players Black Stars bench warmers the chance to impress in the match in Podgorica.

Also named in the starting line-up is left-back David Addy and Mubarak Wakaso who have been unable to command starting places in the team in recent matches.

In-form Emmnauel Agyemang Badu, who has also been absent in the Black Stars starting team in recent matches, will also start in the match as he will partner Michael Essien in the centre of the midfield.

Jordan Ayew who has been absent in recent matches for the Black Stars will also start as he will team up with Abdul Majeed Waris who is in blistering form in France.

John Boye will partners another in-form player Jerry Akaminko at the heart of the defence with Daniel Opare playing at his favourite right-back position with Addy playing on the left.

Kick off is at 1700 local time.
