Afriyie Acquah: I’ve a Chance In The Ghana World Cup Squad

The Gialloblu midfielder believes he can get a place in the Black Stars’ squad for Brazil if he keeps his fine form in the Serie A.

Ghanaian holding midfielder Afriyie Acquah believes he can make it to the World Cup with Ghana if he continues to work hard at Parma.

The 22-year-old enforcer has been in fantastic form for the Serie A side and is gradually taking over the Gialloblu midfield.

“The national team is for everyone. I believe if I continue to work hard for my club, the national team coach will give me a call-up,” Acquah told Italy-based Favans Sports.

“Everything depends on me. Is all about me getting more playing time at my club and continuing to prove myself. I will make it to the World Cup.”

Acquah added “Since the final squad has not come out yet, I have to always do my best to catch the eyes of coach Kwesi Appiah. I play with these guys in Europe so playing against them at the World Cup will not be a problem.”
