Teach Politicians A Lesson By Punishing NDC In 2016 – Sammy Awuku

Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked Ghanaians to take the promises of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) with a ‘pinch of salt’.

He said it will not inure to the benefit of Ghanaians if they believe promises made by the NDC led administration.

Sammy Awuku was commenting on the free SHS education policy trumpeted by President John Dramani Mahama during his State of the Nation Address as well as the ground breaking ceremony which took place on Monday for the construction of 50 out of 200 Senior High School (SHS).

He told Kwami Sefa Kayi on ‘Kokrokoo’ that there is empirical evidence to show the NDC has not been able to complete or fulfill any of their manifesto promises and bemoaned why they are still making ‘more promises’.

To him, the NDC’s promise to offer free education to SHS students is a way of throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians.

“You believe promises of the NDC led administration at your own risk…I cannot trust this government because they have not fulfilled any of the promises they have made so far. You don’t need a rocket scientist to tell you that they are all lies…Ghanaians must punish them in 2016,” he indicated.
