Stop Politicizing Health Issues…!!!

A Communications Team Member of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Charles Owusu has advised Ghanaians to desist from politicizing matters bordering on health.

According to him, most issues emanating from the health sector in recent times are mainly due to poor management and thus the discussion should be devoid of politicization.

Mr. Charles Owusu sees no reason why private hospital services are appreciated by all whereas the services of state-owned hospitals are poor.

“Why is the private hospital doing creditably well? How many times do you often hear of an incident of a missing child delivered at birth at any private hospital? Are they not Ghanaians working there?” he questioned.

Speaking on Adom FM, Monday, the PPP communicator submitted that, government must set an “eagle eye” on various government hospitals to help solve issues. He also appealed to the Mahama administration to prioritize health issues rather than dabbling in politicization of health matters.

“We must be very careful on how we deal with our health issues…if it works well, it will benefit us all. Even now our health insurance is not effective because of politics. Let take politics out of our health issues,” he opined.
