Brazil 2014 Not My Concern – Dede Ayew

Ghana International, Andre Ayew, says he is not concerned about Brazil 2014 for now as he plans to help his club finish well in the French Ligue one.

The Olympic Marseille star said although Brazil 2014 will be the biggest football stage this year, he would not let it divide his focus since the French top-flight is also equally important to him.

“Brazil is the country of football. There will be a whole crowd of Brazilians behind them. I think it will be a good World Cup, logically,” the left-footed player told RMC. “As I say, I put it aside. I want to finish well with Marseille and after I’ll have time for the World Cup.” Ayew is likely to make Ghana’s 23-man squad for the World Cup.

Ghana have been paired in Group G with Germany, Portugal and the USA.
