Olele Is Fighting His Way Into The Black Stars – Joe Addo

Ex-Black Stars captain Joe Addo says goalkeeper Richard Kingson cannot be ruled out totally from making it into the final World Cup squad of Coach Kwesi Appiah.

Joe Addo believes Richard Kingson has picked up form in post for his team in Europe.

“Olele cannot be ruled out considering his current form for his club in Europe…He is fighting back to be included in the final squad,” Joe Addo said.

“We have four goalkeepers now in our fold,” he stated referring to Fatau Dauda, Daniel Adjei, Adam Kwarasey and Stephen Adams.

“We need just three out of these four and everybody is trying to be included in Kwesi Appiah’s final squad”.

The former Stuttgart defender believes there is competition in Kwesi Appiah’s team so far and from now till June, little will be done by Coach Appiah as he has the core of the team and will be adding a few new ones.

Ghana is scheduled to play Montenegro in an international friendly on March 5.

It forms part of the Black Stars preparation for the football mundial in June.

Already, 21-man squad have been called to start camping for the game which will be played at the Stadium Pod Goricum in Podogrica.
