Finland-based defender Gideon Baah remains optimistic he will soon earn his first Ghana call-up.
Baah, a football academy reality show winner, has just joined Finnish champions HJK Helsinki after excelling with FC Honka by helping them finish second in the league.
He was named the Best Defender and Discovery of the Year at the end of last season’s Veikkausliiga.
The left-back scored two goals in 29 appearances for FC Honka.
Baah believes he will soon earn a dream nearing a dream Ghana call-up.
“It’s my dream to play for Ghana at the senior level and am sure it is in the making,’’ Baah said.
“I would not be surprised if I get a call up to play for the Black Stars so am keeping my fingers crossed and would continue working hard and hope it comes sooner.”
