MP To Mechanize Borehole For Congo SHS

Mr Boniface Gambila, New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Nabdam in the Upper East Region is to mechanize a borehole for the Congo Senior High School (SHS) in Nabdam.

The mechanization, which will cost 33, 000 Ghana Cedis, will be funded from his MP’s Common Fund, he told the GNA in an interview.

Mr Gambila said the school lacked classrooms “wawa” boards were still being used to construct classroom blocks while classroom projects initiated by the former President John Agyekum Kufuor government in the school are left uncompleted.

“These abandoned classroom projects could have solved the problems faced by the school,” he said.

Mr Gambila said the standard of education in the District was falling and that pupils still studied under trees.

He called on the Talensi/Nabdam District Assembly and for that matter the government to complete the projects.
