AK Songstress, Others To Rock Ghana DJ Awards Tomorrow

AK Songstress, one of Ghana’s dancehall queens, is billed to perform at the second edition of the Ghana DJ Awards slated for Saturday February 22, at the National Theatre in Accra.

AK Songstress is expected to rock the event alongside stars like DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Mic Smith, DJ Mensah, DJ Slim, DJ Bryte, VIP, Mz Vee, Stonebwoy, Keche, Edem and Diamond, and will use the occasion to premiere her much awaited music video, ‘Funky Fresh’ which was shot in Johannesburg, South Africa.

This year’s Ghana DJ Awards which is expected to be different and historic will bring together the best of Ghana and international disc jockeys (DJs) to celebrate the event with music fans.

The confident singer, who has performed on a number of platforms in the country and treated music fans to unforgettable performances, has promised Ghanaians and the organisers of the awards a good show.

Ghana’s sensational disc jockey, DJ Black of Joy FM, who emerged Ghana’s ultimate Disc Jockey at the maiden edition of the Ghana DJ Awards held last year, has again been nominated for Best Male Radio DJ, Best Event DJ, Best Scratch DJ, Best Music Promoter, Best Video Jockey, Best DJ and Best Mixtape DJ categories.

The Ghana DJ Awards is being organised to honour the country’s most hardworking and dedicated Disc Jockeys (DJs) who promoted Ghanaian culture through music and skilfully played music to entertain music lovers in Ghana and other parts of the world.
