Maulvi Wahab Arrives


Maulvi Wahab and Hon K.T. Hammond when the former arrived

The Ameer and Missionary In-charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission of Ghana, Maulvi Dr Abdul Wahab Bin Adam returned home on Thursday night from London after a year’s special duties at the headquarters of the mission.

He was met on arrival at the airport by some National Executive Members of the Ghana Mission led by the acting Ameer Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, second deputy Ameer. Also present to welcome him was Hon K. Tahir Hammond.

While in the UK, Maulvi Wahab participated in the International Ahmadiyya Muslim Communities Annual Peace Symposium in the UK during which Dr Ohenemama Boadie Adjei, founder of FOCOS Orthopaedic Clinic in Accra was honoured for his services to humanity by the Supreme Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim community, Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmed Khalifatul Masih V.

Maulvi Dr Wahab Adam also took part in the Ahmadiyya Muslim Pan-African Association conference which commemorated the 50 th independence anniversaries of Algeria, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Malawi and some other African countries.

He also participated in last week’s conference of the World Religions at Guildhall in London which was organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in the UK as part of its centenary celebration.
