Ex-Black Star player Nii Odartey Lamptey has called on the management of Hearts of Oak to give Mohammed Polo some time to gain grounds at the helm of affairs.
The ex-Kotoko player believes with time, Polo will adjust and things can turn around for the Phobian family.
“Polo is yet to know the players and he needs time to bring them together and build a strong squad that can do the battle in the remaining matches in the season,” he said in a n interview with Ghana Sports.
“He needs to bring everybody together, including the management and even the supporters of the club. Polo really needs time at Hearts since sacking him won’t solve the problem at ones.”
Nii Odartey Lamptey said even if a decision needs to be taken on Polo, it should be after the season ends.
“Listen, when he stays for another season, anything is possible but hey, Hearts needs to put their acts together.”
Hearts’ woes were deepened last week when Wa All Stars thumped them 3-0 in their first match when the second round of the First Capital Plus Premier League resumed.
