Stanbic Bank has launched a promotion dubbed, ‘Stanbic Visa Swipe to Brazil’ campaign, aimed at rewarding two of its new and existing Visa card holders and their partners, with the opportunity of experiencing the upcoming football festival in Brazil.
All one has to do to qualify to take part in the promotion is to ‘simply swipe’ for goods and services at shopping centers, restaurant, hotels or via online trading sites with your Stanbic visa Card.
It is also to afford football lovers getting ready to travel to Brazil in June for the World Cup, the convenience of not having to carry huge amounts of monies on them, when leaving the country because with the Stanbic Visa Card, they would have access to their account anywhere across the globe.
Explaining the benefits of using a visa card to the Press, Mr. Ben Mensah, the Head of Personal Marketing said it enables customers to track transactions, which helps in financial discipline.
“It also safe and secure and all you have to do is to Swipe as many times as possible, from now through to the 30th of April, to stand the chance of experiencing the World Cup in Brazil,” he said.
On his part, the Chief Executive of the Bank, Alhassan Andani said the Visa Swipe to Brazil Campaign is in line with the company’s to always associate itself with football.
He stated that the world is gradually moving into cashless society therefore they wan to ensure the majority of Ghanaians are not left out.
Alhassan Andani said customers can use their Stanbic visa cards to pay at 24 million merchants worldwide because central to competition, Stanbic Bank is the best.
“Globally, no one goes out paying with cash; everybody now pays with cards, so long as we have a Stanbic visa card, you have joined the best in the world”.
The ultimate prize comprises an international flight from Ghana to Brazil and domestic flight to match venue for the two winners and their partners. The winners would be met with a meet and greet service upon arrival at airport.
They would also have a four day stay in a four (4) star hotel and have the opportunity of taking a group tour of some breath taking sights and beaches of Brazil.
Stanbic Visa Swipe to Brazil winners would be treated to a pre-match hospitality at the venue en route to stadium and would be given an amount of $150 spending money.
The promotion is looking to reward other winners with flat screen LED TV’s, DSTV decoders, Samsung Galaxy notes among others.
