GHOSPA Threatens Strike

The Government and Hospital Pharmacists Association is threatening a strike in 17 days time.

The group claims the government isn’t implementing its own recommendations to address some concerns relating to their migration unto the single spine salary structure.

According to the pharmacists, there are payment challenges that have not been addressed for three years now.

GHOSPA members suspended a two-month strike last year pending the implementation of government’s road map towards fixing their issues.

The group’s President, Stephen Corquaye told XYZ News that nothing has been done about their grievances ever since, thus the threat to re-activate the strike.
