With 11 days left to the 2nd Annual Ghana DJ Awards 2014 scheduled to hold at the Ghana National Theatre, the Awards Jury has rescinded Deejay Perfekt’s Artiste DJ of the Year nomination over accusations of placement error.
The Ghana DJ Awards Jury arrived at the decision Saturday.
“After checks we have identified that Perfekt’s nomination was an error,” said Mr Kofi Dixon, member of the Ghana DJ Awards jury.
No other DJ will be nominated in his place.
Though rare, this is not the first time the awards Jury has revoked a nomination.
