FMC organises special Umra flight for Muslims

The Federation of Muslim Council (FMC) Ghana, in consultation with Ulama (Seers), is organising a special Umra Flight for 222 Ghanaian Muslims all over the country.

In attendance will be 10 regional Imams, led by the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, for a 10-day Umra and intercessory prayer at Makkah, Mukarama, Madina, and Munawara all in Saudi Arabia from April 16-26, 2014.

The trip is intended to seek Allah’s countless blessing, mercy, protection of Ghana, and neutralisation of all ominous disasters, calamities and upheavals of inscrutable future.

The National Coordinator of FMC, Alhaji Abdullah Williams, has therefore, urged Muslims who intend to perform Umra to take advantage of the package offer of GH¢6,000, which includes accommodation and transport

He said it would also be part of the “proactive positive Muslim contribution to Ghana’s quest for preventive solution to the myriad of challenges, national peace, national cohesion in serene, and unimpeded development”.

Also, he said, Muslims who wanted to participate in the crucial noble prayer should contact Maraba Air on 0570690777, 0267396363, or 0302935445, for registration and reservation.
