Andre Ayew is delighted to have make injury return for French giants Olympic Marseille over the weekend.
The Stade Velodromme outfit beat their French Ligue 1 counterparts Bastia 3-0 in a game that saw the Ghanaian coming on in the second half after a three-month lay-off.
“It’s nice to get the victory at the end. We exhibited a great state of mind, good technical qualities. Now we must continue on this path,” Ayew told Marseille’s official website.
“Physically, I ‘m not at the top but will get there gradually and get my brand.”
Ayew added: “I do not want to skip steps. I want to thank all the staff who helped me regain fitness so quickly.”
