THE CHIEF executive of Chocho Industries, Alhaji Mustapha oti Boateng, has advised heads of corporate institutions in the eastern Region to support ICT education in the region.

He pointed out that each company in the region as a matter of urgency and priority should donate three desk tops or lap top computers to schools in the region to encourage ICT education.

And demonstrating his suggestion, his outfit has presented three brand new computers to the Asunafo D/A JHS as his company’s contribution to ICT education in the area.

“We at Chocho believe in formal education hence our decision to support this school. We are now in a computer age, so providing these

items no doubt will help pupils in the school.
“I am appealing to all corporate bodies in the region to donate three computers each to schools in the region. I believe doing so will help equip our children with enough IT knowledge,’ said Alhaji Chocho.

In his acceptance speech, the Assistant Headmaster of Asunafo D/A JHS, Douglas ofori, thanked Alhaji oti Boateng for the gesture and promised to put the computers to good use.

‘We are very grateful for this gesture.
We approached Alhaji to support us in this regard when he chaired our 50th anniversary some few weeks ago and promised us the computers. We are indeed grateful to Alhaji for honouring his promise,’ said Mr ofori.
