Ghana midfielder Michael Essien gets to make his Serie A debut tonight after being named in AC Milan’s trip to face Napoli.

The former Chelsea man will partner Dutchman Nigel De Jong in the middle.

But Essien’s countryman Sulley Muntari will start from the bench.

Ignazio Abate has given a new role in the attacking trio behind Mario Balotelli who has returned from suspension.

Ricky Kaka has been suffering from flu over the last few days, so is not fit to start.

Adel Taarabt also makes his debut after completing the loan move from QPR.

Milan are unbeaten in Serie A under Coach Clarence Seedorf, though the run of two consecutive victories was halted by a 1-1 draw with Torino last week.
