Didi Dramani cautions Kotoko supporters

The head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko fc, Mas-ud Didi Dramani has sent words of caution to the fans of the club prior to their CAF Champions league game on Sunday.

He has expressed that any supporter who doesn’t have belief in the players, is not worthy of supporting the club, because they are the best. He believes they should be able to throw their support behind the team both in difficulties and easy moments.

“I am urging the Kotoko fans to support with their heart and rally behind the club at all times, whether good or bad.

“What the players need is their support during matches, so they should come in their numbers to cheer the team on against BYC on Sunday, he told Metro fm.

“If you are a Kotoko fan and you don’t believe in the team, then you don’t  deserve to support the club, because the boys are the best in the country.

“They should always appreciate what the team is doing and in that way they will give out their very best. The supporter should let the praises for the team exceed the negatives they talk about the players.”

Kotoko in the 2013 CAF Champions league skipped the Preliminary stage hurdle by thrashing Sony Ela Nguema, 8-0 on aggregate, but got eliminated in First round on an away goal rule to Bejaia of Algeria.

The Ghana league champions set a date with their Liberian counterparts, Barrack Young Controllers in the preliminary stage on Sunday 9 th February at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
