If It Is Our “One Cedi” Ken Agyapong Wants, He Should Simply Tell Us – Bryan Acheampong

There is no fire that can die out completely after it has been quenched and it appears the peace pipe which was offered to Mr. Bryan Acheampong and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to smoke, has eased no tension between the two.

They recently hijacked the airwaves with series of damaging punch lines over motorbikes which were purchased for the New Patriotic Party but alleged to be in the unlawful custody of Jake Obestebi-Lamptey.

The above allegation caused a major uproar within the party and evolved into a world of attacks. Hon. Agyapong seems to have taken the matter to a different level; following a publication which appeared on the front page edition of Tuesday,February 4, 2013 ‘Chronicle newspaper’ which read, “Kennedy Bikes Traced To Jake”. The story purports that the missing motor bikes have been found to be in the possession of the NPP’s National Chairman.

But responding to the story on Okay FM, Bryan Acheampong categorically denied the publication and maintained that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong hasn’t presented motorbikes to the New Patriotic Party. He noted that it was a rather another businessman who wants to keep a low profile that donated several motorbikes to the party and not the Assin Central MP.

Mr. Acheampong cheekily quipped that if Hon. Agyapong had gone in for a bank loan which he can’t pay, he shouldn’t vent his frustration on Mr. Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey.

He however assured him that the entire party is ready to donate “one Ghana cedi note” to him if his financial muscle is currently crumbling.
