The Ghana Premier League returns after a long break, with five games taking place in Gameweek 16.
Among a host of fixtures slated for Wednesday, 12 th placed Bechem United host 9 th placed Kumasi King Faisal.
New coach of King Faisal, Dorian Marin will take charge of the team for the first time, and will be looking to start on a high. The Romanian was appointed by the Kumasi –based club last week, after Carlos Roberto Paullete left to join Medeama.
The first round tie ended 2-1 in favour of King Faisal, and Bechem will be eager to avenge their defeat, as they battle to beat the drop.
Bechem United like King Faisal, have a new head coach in the person of Swede Tom Strand, who will be looking to win the hearts of the home crowd early on with a victory.
A win for the home side will see them leapfrog Faisal, and could see them climb as high as seventh on the log, depending on other results. King Faisal themselves would be buoyed by the prospect of inching closer to a top four-spot.
The stakes are high for both clubs, as they aim to gain some grounds on their opponents. This promises to be a mouth-watering tie as two new coaches battle it out for their first win. Who will come out tops?
