Dwarfs to name coach on Sunday

by Thomas Freeman Yeboah
Paul adjetey Djani, the PRO for Ebusua Dwarfs says the club will surprisingly name the head coach of the club on Sunday ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup.

“We will surprise everybody, by unveiling the new coach of the club on Sunday before our game against Jaaraf of Senegal,” he told Metro fm.

Ebusua Dwarfs has been struggling in its technical direction following the exit of Prof Mintah on health grounds and the engagement of Rashid Iddi, the assistant coach with the Black Queens.

He however debunked news circulating that Dwarfs have decided to pull out  of the CAF Confederations Cup and he reassured the public of the club’s participation.

“Although we are in hard times, our club has not made any decision to pull out of the competition. We know the consequences of withdrawing at this point in time.

“The amount needed to prepare for the preliminary stage is $70,000, while the fine for not playing by CAF is $150,000, so there is no need to withdraw.”

Ebusua Dwarfs clash with Jaaraf of Senegal on Sunday at the Robert mensah Sports Stadium.
