Berekum Chelsea revel in FIFA decision over Clottey

Berekum Chelsea says it will await a response from Esperance after FIFA ordered the Tunisian side to pay $1.4 million with interest for the transfer of Emmanuel Clottey.

Club director,Oduro  Sarfo told Allsports.com.gh the club was happy with the ruling  after chasing compensation for the striker since his transfer in 2012.

“This is a verdict that meets our expectations and we will await for the 14 day period allowed to pass then we will proceed from there.Esperance sought to make a two part payment previously that we turned down.”

The player has since been on a roller coaster ride with a loan stint at UAE outfit Al Dhafra cancelled recently and is currently in Egypt.
