Amidaus target survival after Hasaacas draw

Head coach of Amidaus Professionals Tanko Shaibu has stated that the target for the club for the second half of the season is to beat the drop.

Speaking after his team’s goalless draw with Sekondi Hasaacas this afternoon.

“We came for the win, but we will take the draw. It was obvious Hasaacas were always going to make it difficult for us, since they usually rely on brute strength”

“In the first round game we were not able to play like we would due to player apathy, but this time we have everyone on board.

“We have been able to beef up the squad with a few signings as well, so things look good. Our target for the rest of the season is to beat relegation”

Amidaus started the day in 14th position, with the draw doing nothing to help their hopes of survival.
