Former Hearts coach David Duncan has revealed to GHANASoccernet.com he recommended the signing of CHAN duo Aseidu Attobrah and Stephen Adams but the club’s board rejected it.
Duncan, who was sacked in November last year, was keen on fortifying his squad before the start of the season with the Aduana Stars goalkeeper and New Edubiase United playmaker.
“I recommended Adams and Attobrah to Hearts board but they didn’t think they were that good. You see now?,” Duncan said.
“First, Hearts would have had more representation in the CHAN team and reaping the benefits.
“Now they are going to cost double the price we could have had them if not even more, it’s a pity.”
Duncan guided Hearts to second place before parted ways with the clubs four matches to end of the season.
