The governing party’s national Women’s Organizer says she is more than capable to handle her new job as Deputy Coordinator at the national disaster management organization.
Anita De-Sooso speaking in an interview with XYZ News said she will assist her boss to run the organization successfully. She also responded to critics who have accused her of lobbying for her new position saying there is nothing wrong with lobbying.
“They say I went to lobby but what is wrong with lobbying, there is nothing wrong with lobbying so if they don’t know how to lobby there should come and see me to show them how to lobby” Anita De-Sooso said.
NADMO is responsible for the management of disasters and other emergencies. Anita De-Sooso however added that although she has no expertise in disaster management, she is geared up to learn on the job.
“The President says I should come and help to build this country so I am here to the best that I can. I don’t have everything but I know that with the people who are working at NADMO we will come together as a team and Ghana proud.
