Malik Jabir wants Dwarfs job

“I believe Ebusua Dwarfs, who are playing in the Ghana premier league as well as the CAF confederations Cup will give me such a test, because if you learn a lot and you don’t practice, it will fade off.”

Ebusua Dwarfs is currently struggling technically following the departure of Prof. Mintah on medical grounds and the busy schedule of Rashid Iddi their assistant coach, due to his engagement with the Black Queens as assistant.

Iddi who is in an acting role with the Cape Coast based club has his contract expired and he is now enjoying his romance with the Queens.

Malik Jabir has vast experience on the African terrain as a player and coach, having won the African Champions Cup in 1970 as a player and guiding Kotoko to win it in 1983 as the assistant. He also coached Kotoko to their last Champions Cup final in 1993, but lost on penalties to Zamalek of Egypt.

Ebusua Dwarfs begins their CAF Confederation Cup campaign against Jaaraf of Senegal on Sunday 9 th February at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium, Cape Coast.
