Kwesi Appiah: I’ve Found My Feet

The forward hopes to use his one month stay at Preston to make an impact although he admits it is not enough to impress.

Crystal Palace striker Kwesi Appiah is reveling in his loan spell at Notts County and sees it as another “test” of his career.

Appiah, who was on loan at Cambridge last year, said he is relishing the challenge at Preston and hopes to make the most out of the loan.

“It’s been a hard career for me up until this point, but the last two or three seasons I seem to have settled myself down,” he told the Cambridge News. “I’m beginning to find my feet, but this is another test and hopefully I can overcome it.”

“I am only here for one month and it’s obviously down to the gaffer if he wants to extend it. Obviously it’s tough given the short time you have to impress, but you do what you can.”

“If you do well, you get rewarded and it’s part and parcel of being a footballer,” the 23-year-old said. “It doesn’t matter whether you are here for a month or a year, you have to do what you can to get noticed.”
