Ghana midfielder Asiedu Attobrah has opened the door to a potential future move to Europe after the CHAN tournament ended on Sunday evening.
The 18-year-old playmaker, who featured in three games for Ghana – against DR Congo, Nigeria and Libya – hopes that his performance for the Local Black Stars will catch the eyes of European clubs.
The attacking midfielder is the king-pin for his side, New Edubiase FC in the Ghana Premier League- scoring two and assisting twelve goals for his club this season.
Attobrah was strongly linked with a switch to Kotoko and Hearts in the second round transfer window – as well as hosts of European clubs – but the ex-Zatouna youngster opted to stay at Bekwai.
And while he is unlikely to leave now, if he chooses to do so, Europe is an an option for him.
“My performance in this tournament will help my football career and i hope to get a team in Europe,” Attobrah told Asempa FM’s Sports.
“I have gotten a lot of offers and I even nearly signed for Fenerbahce but I hope to get the best club from Europe.”
