General Manager, Public Affairs, NAMA, disclosed this in a statement he issued in Lagos after the meeting which ended late on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe meeting is however expected to continue on Monday to further deliberate on issues at stake after the parties agreed that dialogue remains the best way of resolving industrial crisis,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>Atobatele said the meeting was attended by representatives of the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria and Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees.<\/p>\n<p>Mr\u00a0 Abdulkareem Motajo, who led the team from NUATE, was quoted as saying during the two- hour deliberation, that the union leaders were not interested in creating problem for the management.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ultimatum earlier issued was to send a friendly warning that there were\u00a0 issues yet to be resolved, \u2018\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>NAMA\u2019s Director of Human Resources, Dr Uwem Akangson, who represented Mr Nnamdi Udoh, the agency\u2019s managing director, said the meeting was necessary due to communication gap between the management and unions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis had made it difficult to appreciate the extent of achievement on the implementation of the new salary package for the workers,\u2019\u2019 he said.
