General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly called Sir John, has described the 100 days of President John Dramani Mahama as \u201cabysmal\u201d, claiming that the country is bereft of a proper leadership.<\/p>\n

Sir John, in an interview on Radio Gold on Wednesday, labelled President Mahama as a \u201cdanger boy\u201d, stating that he is driving the nation in the wrong direction.<\/p>\n

He explained that in the midst of the economic crises crippling the nation, President Mahama cannot be appraised for good governance because to him, the President has failed to address the concerns of the citizenry.<\/p>\n

In his view, the country, under President John Mahama\u2019s administration, is gradually earning a reputation as a highly indebted poor nation.<\/p>\n

Due to the inability of the President to salvage the economy from its present dwindling state, the NPP scribe stated that the nation is heading towards HIPC (Highly Indebted Poor Country).<\/p>\n

According to him, the President\u2019s 100 days have revealed that the nation is afloat and lost its bearing.<\/p>\n

Explaining the current economic situation, he said \u201cthis country is rudderless. The country is like the bicycle on which the \u201cdanger boy\u201d, John Dramani Mahama, is sitting\u2026with no break and we have nobody. We are bereft of leadership. So, there is clearly a paralysis of leadership in this country and I think that John Dramani Mahama is not a happy person in this country.\u201d<\/p>\n

He therefore dared the President to prove to Ghanaians, the work that his government has done since inception.<\/p>\n

Scoring the government, zero, in its 100 days, Sir John sought to find out the President\u2019s evidence, asserting that \u201che must tell us because I cannot see it. Look, since the IEA debate, he promised us that the \u2018Dum Sor, Dum Sor\u201d was going to be a thing of the past. Since the IEA debate\u2026we are still where we were. So, let the President tell us what he said he\u2019s trying to do and that he\u2019s not been successful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis water crisis, how long have we not had it? Let the President come and tell us what he\u2019s doing or what he\u2019s done to alleviate these hardships from us\u2026So for me [for me], I have not seen anything and the President has not demonstrated what he said he\u2019s trying hard for us to have confidence in him.\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
