{"id":64652,"date":"2013-04-16T11:51:26","date_gmt":"2013-04-16T11:51:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2013\/04\/kehinde-bamigbetan-ejigbo-lcda-chairman-kidnapped\/"},"modified":"2013-04-16T11:51:26","modified_gmt":"2013-04-16T11:51:26","slug":"kehinde-bamigbetan-ejigbo-lcda-chairman-kidnapped","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2013\/04\/16\/kehinde-bamigbetan-ejigbo-lcda-chairman-kidnapped\/","title":{"rendered":"Kehinde Bamigbetan, Ejigbo LCDA Chairman kidnapped"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"62.2195266272\">\n<p>By Olasunkanmi Akoni<\/p>\n<p>Former Chief Press Secretary to former Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu and incumbent Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Kehinde Oladapo Bamigbetan was yesterday night abducted by \u00a0unknown gunmen at Ejigbo in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>As at the time of this report, the \u00a0suspected kidnappers had not made contact with members of his family.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_378988\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft c14\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanguardngr.com\/2013\/04\/ejigbo-lcda-chairman-kidnapped\/kehinde-bamigbetan\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-378988\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-378988\" alt=\"KEHINDE BAMIGBETAN\" src=\"http:\/\/img.ghanamma.com\/uploads\/2013\/04\/bf12KEHINDE-BAMIGBETAN.jpg\" width=\"170\" height=\"214\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">KEHINDE BAMIGBETAN<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>He was said to have\u00a0 been abducted by four gunmen on his way home at about 11:00pm , as he was about\u00a0 entering <em>Ona Iwa Mimo<\/em> Street,\u00a0<em>Ori Oke<\/em> before Egbe Bridge at Ejigbo, where his house is located.<\/p>\n<p>He was with his driver, Biodun Olayiwola, in his black Ford Everest Jeep with special registration number KOK, without \u00a0any police orderly, as the\u00a0chairman was never known to use police escorts since assumption of office.<\/p>\n<p>The gunmen were said to have released several gun shots into the air to scare away residents before catching up with Bamigbetan and his driver whose four-wheel drive got stuck \u00a0in \u00a0the mud \u00a0in a bid to escape from the assailants.<\/p>\n<p>Bamigbetan, was later whisked \u00a0away by the gunmen.<\/p>\n<p>Vanguard gathered that the matter had since been reported at the Ejigbo Divisional Police station.<\/p>\n<p>In his own account, Bamigbetan\u2019s driver, Olayiwola, who escaped with minor bruises told Vanguard that \u00a0he and his boss were attacked by three armed men while another member of the gang was waiting in the assailants car in an attack that barely lasted three minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Comments are moderated.
