All it took to get thrown out was having an opinion different from that of the archbishop,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Argentina was the first Latin American country to recognize same-sex marriage. It is also allowed in Mexico City and was approved just this week in Uruguay.<\/p>\n<p>So far around 6,000 same sex couples have wed in Argentina, activists say.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Comments are moderated.
