That is wrong!\u201d the General Secretary of the GMA, Dr. Frank Serebuor said in an interview on Eyewitness News.<\/p>\n<p>The Ghana Federation of Labour has, in a statement, indicated that doctors, whose services fall under essential services in Ghana, have no right to embark on an industrial action according to the labour laws of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Government also, on Wednesday, described the ongoing strike by the doctors as illegal adding that the reasons given by the GMA for withdrawing their services were not tenable.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Serebuor has however responded to criticisms saying: \u201cYou just can\u2019t rule us as essential services and treat us unessential.
