Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Inusah Fuseini has advised Ghanaians to follow the due process when acquiring land in the country to avoid being duped. \u201cThere are steps that one has to take in order to satisfy one\u2019s self that I am buying land from proper persons who can transfer ownership.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Minister, people should cross-check with the Lands Commission who the proper owner of the land is.<\/p>\n

The Citi Breakfast Show was inundated on Friday with people who have been duped through various means in their attempt to acquire land.<\/p>\n

Alhaji Inusah Fuseini stated that people must also take responsibility and ensure they get the right documentation for any land acquired, to avoid unnecessary litigations.<\/p>\n

Mr. Inusah also outlined his Ministry\u2019s plans to digitize land procurement. \u201cThe whole of Ghana will be on a digitized map; this will help bring about certainty of ownership, boundaries.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
