Black Stars team doctor Baba Adamu has allayed fears over the fitness of four key players \u00a0ahead of the start of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.<\/strong><\/p>\n There are concerns over the fitness of Richmond-Boakye Yiadom, Anthony Annan, Isaac Vorsah and Rabiu Mohammed.<\/p>\n Yiadom, 19, was forced to abandoned Tuesday\u2019s training session after he picked up a thigh sprain.<\/p>\n Defender Isaac Vorsah is yet to recover fully after he picked a knock in his right thigh during the Black Stars friendly win over Tunisia.<\/p>\n Annan had a twist on his left ankle during the opening friendly game against Egypt and yet to get involved while Rabiu is sweating on a problem in his right thigh.<\/p>\n With the continental showpiece just days away, there are fears the players may not be fully fit ahead of Sunday\u2019s opening group D game against old foes DR Congo.<\/p>\n But team doctor Baba Adamu has allayed the fears of Ghanaians soccer fans and insists they will be fit in time.<\/p>\n \u201cThe injury situation of my team is not too bad. On my injury list I have four of the athletes,\u201d Adamu said<\/p>\n \u201cIsaac Vorsah who had a knock on his right thing, Anthny Annan had a twist on his left ankle joint, Rabiu had a knock on his thigh too and the last but not the least is Richmond Boakye-Yiadom. He had a sprained on his right ankle joint at training on Tuesday.<\/p>\n \u201cOn the whole, we\u2019re working around te clock. Hopefully by Thursday, they should be up and doing.<\/p>\n \u201cSo by Thursday I expect all of them to be on the field and Sunday all things being equal, they should all be fit for the game.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had our general \u00a0medical rounds last night. So far, so good.
