A radio DJ sent a picture of his man-hood to a stunned London 2012 paralympic gold medallist \u2013 then apologised for the \u201csurprise pork sausage\u201d meant for his girlfriend.<\/p>\n

Dom Harvey, a host on New Zealand station The Edge, was intending to deliver his radio producer girlfriend a saucy reminder of his talents through the Snapchat social media tool.<\/p>\n

But instead, the mysterious manhood popped into the inbox of Kiwi paralympic swimmer Sophie Pascoe as she competed at a meeting in Canada.<\/p>\n

A startled Pascoe tweeted about the incident before winning gold in the 100m freestyle in world record time.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust finished eating dinner and opened Snapchat. #awkward surprise,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

The DJ says he immediately said sorry to the swimmer, who he somehow confused with his lover Sophie Hallwright.<\/p>\n

But according to the New Zealand Herald, his apology was rather inappropriate as well.<\/p>\n

In reference to Pascoe\u2019s marketing contract with NZ beef and lamb, the DJ reportedly said: \u201cSo sorry about that Snapchat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know you like beef and lamb \u2026 but nobody deserves a surprise pork sausage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pascoe has refused to comment further, but Harvey\u2019s boss at Mediaworks, Leon Wratt said: \u201cIt was a stupid thing to do.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one feels stupider than Dom himself but he has apologised.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo disciplinary action is planned.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is not the first time Harvey has been in trouble.<\/p>\n
