Protector & Gamble, manufacturers of Oral-B toothpaste and other products has introduced the Oral-B Mobile Dental Clinic in partnership with the Ghana Dental Association.
The Oral -B Mobile Dental Clinic which is a health initiative by Oral-B is targeted at helping Ghanaians achieve proper dental health and hygiene.
Launching the 2013 edition in Accra, Madam Nsimah Inem, Commercial Operations Leader, Greater West Africa of P & G reinforced the health benefits of Oral-B, stating that ‘Oral-B helps consumers achieve healthier and stronger teeth in one week by brushing twice daily with Oral-B All Round Protection Toothpaste.’
She also went on to say that ‘Oral-B contains a breakthrough antibacterial ingredient – Stannous Complex – which help protect the mouth against all the areas that dentists check most, including gum problems, sensitivity, tooth holes, bacteria, stains, tartar and bad breadth.’
The Vice President of the Ghana Dental Association, Dr Asante Appiah, who was also at the event, reiterated the deplorable conditions of Oral health in Ghana and provided general health tips on proper oral health and hygiene.
He also commended Oral- B and Oral-B, Procter and Gamble for their commitment to improving dental health in Ghana
The Oral-B Dental Clinic was launched November 2012, in line with Oral-B commitment to improving the Oral Health of Ghanaians.
The Oral-B Mobile Dental Clinic is run across selected markets in Ghana and aims to educate Ghanaians about proper oral health and hygiene. To date the program reached over 19,000 Ghanaians.
