A 33-year old teacher at the Konongo Wesley High School, Kwaku Kumi Asante, died of his wounds when he fell from a truck.
He was thrown out when the front door of the truck in which he was traveling from Obenimase to Konongo flung open as the driver attempted to avoid running into a heap of sand in a sharp bend.
The deceased was badly injured and was taken to the Konongo Government Hospital and later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Augustine Mensah, Konongo Divisional Commander of the Police Motor Traffic and Transport Unit confirmed this to the Ghana News Agency and said they were investigating.
