The second batch of ministerial nominees by the president is currently appearing before the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament today.
They include Nana Oye Lithur, Minister-designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Akwasi Oppong-Fosu, Minister-designate for Local Government and Rural Development, Dr Omane Boamah, Communication, Minister-designate for Communications, Prof Jane Nana Opoku Agyemang, Minister- designate for Education and Dr Oteng Agyei , Minister-designate for Environment, Science Technology and Innovation.
The House on Tuesday approved the president’s first seven ministerial nominees who were vetted by the one-party Appointments Committee last week.
