Tunisian army and police forces secured the vicinity of Egypt’s embassy in Tunisia after the embassy received a bomb threat from the Amazigh Islamic Front, said Ayman Mesharrafa, Egypt’s ambassador to Tunisia.
Mesharrafa told the Middle East News Agency on Thursday he informed the Tunisian authorities of this threat.
Security forces were sent to the embassy immediately to secure it, he added.
